A good group is something we all build. A few simple habits keep conversations useful and make it easier for people to help.

Put a name to the venture.
After joining, update your member tag with your name and company. It helps others know who you are and makes conversations more contextual.

Share your work. Be reasonable.
Occasional startup updates, milestones, and promotion are welcome. Please don’t forward every LinkedIn post here. Be moderate.

Start a conversation. Offer a hand.
Ask for help, guidance, opinions, connections, or feedback. And help others when they ask for it.

Give a quiet thread some space.
Avoid sending the same message again and again. If no one is responding or engaging, take the hint.

Invite fellow IITM entrepreneurs.
Share the joining form with IIT Madras entrepreneurs you know. If there’s no response within two days, remind Amrit or Ananya.

Keep the right chat in the right place.
Use the hiring sub-group for hiring and referrals, and Unplugged for diverse or off-topic conversations.
